makes a difference

Volunteer Bobbi Weber is pictured above, (cutting a window into a shed wall.) Bobbi and her husband Bill have been LowCountry Habitat for Humanity volunteers for over 8 years and are part of our dedicated Wednesday construction crew. Peter, Bill and Jim, pictured below, laid a new floor at the warehouse this week.

As we move forward with our Greene Street house builds, we are forming teams of volunteers for Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you would like to be a member of either crew, please contact Lee in the office by calling 843-533-3500 or email to

This week we have been making some major improvements at our warehouse to make it more accommodating for our Beaufort Collection volunteer craftsmen and women. We will finish up the project next Tuesday through Thursday8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Due to other commitments, there will be no construction volunteer opportunities this Saturday.

If you would like to volunteer next week, please remember to email our construction manager at at least 24 hours prior, so that he will know to plan accordingly. In the event of inclement weather, or change of plans, Michael will notify all volunteers planning to work that shift, by email.

Thank you!
