Construction Update – July 6,2017

every hand
makes a difference

Thanks to the dedication of our wonderful construction volunteers, the Brays Island House build is on schedule to be complete by the end of July.
In the picture above it looks like newly oriented volunteer Fred Cosco is having a great time painting the exterior. In the picture below, volunteer Sue McPherson is cutting into the top plate to install the dryer vent hose.

Work will continue at 2216 Trask Parkway on Saturday. Once again, hours are extended to 8 am until 2 pm, with a 15 minute break. Please bring a snack to keep you energized!
Due to the Beaufort Bank Build site dedication next Tuesday 11th, there will be no construction on that day. Next Wednesday and Thursday, between 8 am and noon we will be building the privacy section for the HVAC unit and painting the exterior.
If you have completed volunteer orientation, please check your schedule and join us on the Brays Island House build. Please remember to email Michael Perry, construction manager, at michael@lowcountryhabitat.org so that he can plan accordingly.
Thank you!
