21 Jul LowCountry Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on 25th Anniversary Home
The 25th Anniversary Home site dedication and groundbreaking was held on Thursday July 20th at 906 Greene Street in downtown Beaufort.
Fran Calvert and Anne Helm co-chaired the 25th Anniversary fund drive and event for this exciting project to commemorate LowCountry Habitat’s 25 years of providing affordable housing in Northern Beaufort County.
With the support of the Beaufort community working together to make this project a reality, the 25thAnniversary Build will provide a hand-up to home ownership to Habitat Family Partner, Brandi Hussmann.
At the groundbreaking, Pat Dudley, Habitat Board Member and Lowcountry Real Estate representative, alongside Everette Kuhn from CBC National Bank, Anne Helm 25th Anniversary Project Chair and the Hussmann family all donned hard hats as they each took a shovel of dirt to commemorate the build.
