Construction Update – October 9, 2015

Mint Farm October 9-1

It’s been another very productive week at Mint Farm. Thanks to all of our wonderful Construction Volunteers it is looking like the Adderley family will be moved into The Stud House for Thanksgiving! This week the siding has been installed on The Tribute House, and will be painted next week. All is on track for a completion date in mid December.

This Saturday our volunteers will be building a storage barn for each of the houses.

If you have already completed Volunteer Orientation and are keen to “swing a hammer” please join our fabulous crews of volunteers on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and /or Saturday at 8 a.m. (promptly please.) We finish at noon.

For directions to our 2 houses under construction at 19 and 20 Mint Farm Drive please click here

October Volunteer Orientation is this Saturday at 616 Parris Island Gateway, beginning at 10 a.m. The meeting usually lasts about 45 minutes. Please encourage friends and family to come along and find out how they can help LowCountry Habitat for Humanity build more homes, hope and community in northern Beaufort County!
