We are now ready to "button up", as construction manager Michael Perry calls it, at the Brays Island House build. In other words, our volunteers will now be tasked with putting on the siding.
In this week's pictures from Michael above, we see the house as it is today and volunteers Lewis Tabb, Sally Mayse, Kathlyn Gray and Family Partner Natiema Fuller-Busby's son Michael working on the house.
This Saturday, next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, we need construction volunteers and Family Partners at 2216 Trask Parkway
, between 8 am and noon. If you plan to volunteer, please email Michael at firstname.lastname@example.org
so that he can plan accordingly.
Volunteer Orientation is this Saturday, 10 am at the office. Please spread the word.
LowCountry Habitat for Humanity thanks all our volunteers for everything you do to help build homes, communities and hope in northern Beaufort county.
The Brays Island House will become home to Family Partner, Sheryl Tucker and her son, Keyvon.
