13 Nov Construction Update – November 13, 2015
The punch list at the Mint Farm construction site is rapidly shrinking! Number 19, the Stud House is scheduled for final inspection today, and Number 20, the Tribute House is also drawing close to completion. We are so thankful and grateful to all our dedicated volunteers work on these two houses, and we hope that you will all be able to join us at the House Dedication for the Stud House, on Saturday, November 21, at 10:00 a.m.
We are also in the process of planning a Volunteer Appreciation Event, and ask that you Save -The – Date – Friday evening, January 8, 2016.
Please note that while our weekday volunteers will continue to work at Mint Farm this coming Tuesday through Thursday, beginning tomorrow our Saturday construction is moving from the Mint Farm neighborhood, to the ReStore, where Daniel will supervise repairs to fencing on the property. The fence project will require some serious muscle power, so we are inviting our Marine friends to join us this and next Saturday.
To all our fabulous volunteers: please watch your inbox for more about the House Dedication and Volunteer Appreciation Event. Thank you for all you do to help LowCountry Habitat for Humanity bring people together to build homes, hope, and community in northern Beaufort County.
