We’re coming back, Better than ever

We’re coming back, Better than ever

With the ease of some of the Governor’s stay at home directives, we are working on a phased  reopening plan, for all LowCountry Habitat operations. Safety protocols, including social distancing, face coverings, sanitizing of tools and equipment and  providing hand washing facilities have been put in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Construction on our Brays Island 2 House Build at 53 Vineyard Point Road, on St. Helena, will begin on Thursday, May 28. In order to be compliant with CDC guidelines, it is very important that all volunteers register online. (Please click anywhere on this eblast to access the online calendar.) Please note the new safety precautions required.

ReStore staff returns to work next week to prepare for donation drop offs and pick-ups to resume on Tuesday, June 2. The ReStore will be closed  to the public until Thursday, June 11, while we work through a gradual reopening process that includes strict guidelines for staff and public safety.

In addition to moving into our temporary office space at 24 Professional Village Circle, on Lady’s Island, staff will continue to work remotely until the office is fully functional on Monday, June 15th.

You touch and have touched many lives, including ours. You make a difference.

“Unless  someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”  – Dr. Seuss.

Together, we will continue our mission building a better Beaufort.
