Pictured above are happy and patient ReStore customers waiting for their turn to get inside and check out this week’s treasures. Our customers report their appreciation for the safety measures in place and are keeping calm and positive. Our first priority is the safety of our staff, volunteers, customers and donors. To this end, staff is equipped with PPE for use throughout the day. ReStore shopping hours have returned to 10 am – 5 pm, Thursday through Saturday. The store will be closed on July 4th. Donation drop-offs are restricted to Tuesday and Wednesday between 9 am and 3 pm. Donation pick-up of larger items may be scheduled by calling 843-525-0055. Here are Donations Ambassadors Francis and Will collecting donated supplies from FEMA, for the ReStore.
Many of our construction volunteers have returned to the house build site. Safety is always paramount in construction and even more so now. We request volunteers to wear face masks, practice social distancing and sanitize shared equipment, as feasible. Thanks so much to all of this week’s volunteers. We are getting ready for the installation of Trusses next Tuesday and Wednesday, which is always a very exciting highlight during the construction process. This and next Saturday, Michael will be taking vacation/holiday, and there will be no construction activity on those two days. However, WE NEED YOU, next Tuesday through Friday! To volunteer please check the volunteer calendar for more details and sign up online here.
