04 Dec Construction Update – December 4, 2015
We hope that all our construction volunteers had a very happy Thanksgiving weekend. We had a wonderful turn out of volunteers this week. The Tribute House is close to being ready for final inspection. Work will continue next Tuesday through Thursday, and we thank you all for your continued dedication.
This week, we also thank Sheila Drouin, Beaufort Coordinator for the Lowcountry Master Gardeners, for installing the landscaping at the Stud House. Sheila and her volunteers will return to plant the flower beds at the Tribute House before the Dedication, which is to be held on Saturday, December 19, at 10 a.m. We look forward to celebrating together with the Greene family, and our fabulous construction volunteers who have worked so hard on our 43rd and 44th houses.
There will be no further Saturday construction for the remainder of 2015. Daniel and his Saturday crew will resume the ReStore fence project on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Thank you all for everything you do to help LowCountry Habitat for Humanity bring people together to build homes, communities and hope in northern Beaufort County.
