UpCycled Art Auction – April 6, 2019

What Is the UpCycle Art Auction

Local and regional artists and craftsmen have repurposed, recycled, reclaimed or reimagined materials to create works of art to be auctioned to benefit the LowCountry Habitat for Humanity.

Lady’s Island artist Billy Wilkie has been selected as the featured artist for the Third UpCycled Art Auction to benefit LowCountry Habitat For Humanity.   Mr. Wilkie is known for his whimsical birds and Lowcountry scenes in acrylics and watercolors which can be seen locally at the Red Piano Too Gallery on Saint Helena Island.

This year will also include a lowcountry boil with all the fixings provided by our friends at Boondocks Restaurant.

Great food, drink and entertainment and the chance to bid on one of a kind beautiful pieces of art!

The History

History of Event

In the fall of 2014, the ReStore celebrated its 10th Anniversary by hosting an UpCycled Art Auction Event that raised half of the monies needed for the ReStore home.  In the fall of 2016, we hosted a second event to complete the funding on the ReStore Home.

This year, we are hosting a third UpCycled Art Auction Event on April 6, 2019 at the Frissell House at Historic Penn Center on St. Helena Island.
