Members of the Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry Board of Directors

This event is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry and a celebration of local and regional artists and craftsmen who have repurposed, recycled, reclaimed, or reimagined materials to create amazing works of art! For 2025, we’re returning to the true intent of this event by accepting only items that have been upcycled. In order to be authentic, we’re asking artists to find something of humble origin, something unexpected, and turn it into a fabulous creation using their talent and creativity. This could be as simple as painting over an old canvas or as complex as assembling various bits and pieces into a sculpture. Imagination is the key and the possibilities are endless!

As mentioned, this is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry. Thanks to our generous donors and volunteers, Habitat has put 190 (soon to be 192!) families into homes in the Beaufort/Jasper counties region since 1990. We have designated a future build as the “Beaufort Event House” toward which proceeds from this auction will go. Our auction last March netted more than $30,000 toward that home, but we still have a way to go before it is fully funded.

We need your help to make the dream of home ownership a reality for a deserving family in this community that we share, so we’re asking for your support as an artist, sponsor, or bidder (or all three!).
